Hello Golfers,

Welcome to my final newsletter of 2020!

I would firstly like to say a massive thank you to all our members and guests this year as we all know this has been the toughest year in modern times. We have really enjoyed seeing your smiling faces once we could finally get back out onto the links, with golf being one of the shinning lights for us to look forward to from our new life that was thrust upon us. We have all had a challenges this year, weather it be working from home or even losing our jobs, even so I was very proud to see how the golfing community came together in getting back out and just enjoying golf. It made me think of why I started golf when I was just 9. I loved to play golf and just be out with my grandad playing a few holes most weekends. I hope we can all keep that going forward into 2021 and just enjoy plying golf with people we like to spend time with while challenging ourselves with what we all know is the toughest game in the world.

I challenge you all in 2021 to not take the game to seriously and just go out and take dead aim at your target and swing freely. Enjoy the walk in the fresh air and look around you and see how lucky we all are to be able to play this great game and take in everything around us. Be patient with people around us understanding we don’t all play great golf everyday and if the round is slow just say to yourself that it gives you more time on the golf course taking in all the wonderful views and banter with your friends.

Hope you all have great Christmas and 2021 is a prosperous one for us all.

Crue and the Team.

Waterproofs to wear anywhere
FootJoy's HydroKnit waterproof jackets

Style is an important factor, too. We want to feel confident in the way we look whatever we’re doing. That’s why FootJoy designed their HydroKnit waterproof jacket to look great both on and off the course.

Whilst the HydroKnit jacket boasts all the golf performance you need, like stretch fabric and breathability, it also has a very smart and stylish appearance that works wherever you go. So, if you’re investing in a waterproof jacket this winter, this is one that you should definitely be considering!

Video of the Week

There are many people both home and abroad who we'd love to thank for helping us get through the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. This week's video from the European Tour does exactly this, surprising a front-line doctor in Dubai at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship. What a special moment.
