Plan to meet your goals!

To get the best out of your game you need to plan your golfing year ahead.

To do this we need to learn from our mistakes and any take on the challenges we have in our game. I like the approach of looking at every area of a person's game to see what's the simplest way to play better golf. I always say if your car breaks down what's the first thing you do? Check if it has fuel before calling the AA! By this, I mean better golf can be closer and simpler than you think. It could be as simple as adding another club to your weaponry or even taking some clubs out to simplify your choices. 

Throughout March I will be running:

- Gapping sessions
- Wedge Clinic

Golf on Tour

English top in Hawaii

Tour golf is very much a way of life and an unforgiving one at that. As recently as 2019, Harris English was struggling to return to the PGA Tour, having lost his card and been demoted to the Korn Ferry Tour (this is the feeder tour to the PGA, much like the Challenge Tour in Europe).

Now, English is a PGA Tour champion once again. The 31-year-old picked up his first victory since 2013 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii, having fought off Justin Thomas’ pursuit of a third title in five years at the event. What an achievement, and one for the sentimentalists.
